Howdy All and Happy New Year!
No, it's not January 1st, but it is the New Year for our ranching cycle and this email marks our ask of you to let us know about your ordering intentions for 2025 in order to help us manage our beefer crop for the 2025 Grazing Season. Before we get started, as you know we are committed to saving your family money and that bulk buying is still the most value for your hard-earned dollar. However, in order to help us catch up with the increase in ranching operational costs, the price for 2025 will be $6.50 per lb - hanging weight. We promise to keep this price for the next few years, as inflation, interest rates and diesel fuel costs have all started to stabilize. Despite this increase, we believe we still deliver the best value price per pound to your door. Our price is still about the same as store-bought lean ground beef for all the cuts made available to you - where can you buy a juicy T-Bone or Rib-Eye for that price! So, now to business... let me know what you would like to do for 2025: ARE YOU IN?: YES or NO* If your answer is NO: Can you please let us know why? Was it something we did or did not do? Was it the change in price? If your answer is YES: Please let me know the following: your order size and the delivery month you would like: ORDER SIZE:
Also, to let you know, in order to secure your order we do require a deposit which is due on or before the following dates:
eTransfer Instructions: If you could eTransfer the deposit to this email address... [email protected] The Security Question is: Where is the beef? Security Answer is: Freezer OR Credit Card Instructions: All we need is your CC# and expiry date - we do not need the security number on the back of your card. You can send the numbers over one, or a couple of emails. Or you can call us with your CC# at 519-925-6628. You may have to leave a voice message but I am the only one who listens to the recordings. If you are concerned and need to speak to a human, we will try and get back to you asap. Looking forward to receiving your answers, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. Thanks so much for your continued support of our family run Ranch!

Well, Happy New Year to all of you!
We sure hope that your 2022 is a far better version of 2021! To help with that, let's focus on your freezer, that will likely need filling for the season. Quite a few of you have responded to our call for interest in ordering beef for 2022, so much so that: May and August are now sold out with limited availability for October! If you did not respond to my emails or posts, you can still get on our cancellation lists for the delivery month that you have interest in. There is no guarantee that we can get your order fulfilled, but like the lottery, if you haven't got a ticket, you can't win.... so send me an email about what you are looking for! To those who are on our official order list, I will be reaching out soon, looking for your deposit to secure your order! Thanks everyone for allowing us to fill your freezer! Howdy All! Yes, it's that time of year when we reach out to our freezer beef community to see what the interest is in ordering again for 2022. We have sent out our "indication of interest" email to get you on a delivery list so check your SPAM folder or your unread emails! One thing you should be aware of is that due to the rising costs of raising our beef we found it necessary to raise our price from $4.50/lb to $5.25/lb. Yet, despite the rise in price we are almost "sold-out" for May 2022, with August close on its heels. October still has room! So don't delay to get on a delivery list. We will be reaching out in the early New Year to secure your commitment through requesting a deposit so for now, we just need to know if you are interested at all. HOW DO I LET YOU KNOW: Shoot us an email and let us know: When you would like your order delivered:
Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
Well Howdy All!
We are just into our calving cycle here at the Ranch - so far 4 sets of twins are included in our count of 40 calves so far! With 80 or so to go we are ahead of last year's numbers being only the middle of February! We have been sending out emails to our client base and find - much like last year - there is quite a rush to get on our availability lists. And yes, as the title states above, we have sold out of our May availability. In fact, we are working towards sell-outs of both August and October too! So, to not miss out, make sure you reach out to us as soon as possible! Of course it's a Happy New Year! We, here on the Ranch, have so much to be grateful for! Our family is healthy, our horses and cattle are all doing great - it's been a very mild winter so far, and we are enjoying the down-time that this season brings - just before our 2021 calving cycle begins. So, so far so good!
I am following up on an email sent out to all our customers in late October regarding our need to get our livestock organized for this year's freezer beef orders. Of the replies to my email, there was lots of interest: so much so that May is now sold out and August will likely follow suit shortly! If you have any interest in ordering our beef, please let me know asap! We would hate to see you miss out! Yes, this has been a most unusual year! We sold out of all our availability by May - which for us was wonderful, but a big disappointment for some of you!
Here's how our availability works: at this time of year we need to decide how many calves to hold back from auction and keep over the winter and into the next growing season for our freezer beef business. We generally have an idea of our customer's needs and add to the hold back herd to cover potential new-comers. This year we were caught off guard by the increase in inquiries and orders. We are trying to stay ahead of the curve for 2021. If you are interested in ordering for next year, let us know! We need your delivery preference (May, August or October) and whether you are considering a SIDE, SPLIT SIDE, or a SPLIT. This "indication of interest" will help us plan better for 2021. Simply click here to send us your interest...we do need to know by Halloween (just prior to Auction time). Well, we are happy to report that we have sold out of all our Black Angus freezer beef for 2020! Honestly, what a strange (in an awesome way) year it has been! With everyone at home cooking - as well as the price of our collective groceries on the rise, we can see how $4.50/lb looks good on your grocery budget!
We have been very happy to participate in filling your freezer in 2020 and so look forward to hearing from our customers on special recipes to make those particularly interesting cuts... Flank Steak anyone? Due to the overwhelming demand for our freezer beef this year, we have been able to organize our yearlings so that we can make some available for processing end of October with an early November delivery date.
If you are interested in grass-finished Black Angus beef, look no further! We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the response to ordering our Black Angus Freezer Beef this year! Thank you to all our customers who purchased our freezer beef for May and August delivery!
For those of you who we had to disappoint with the "Sold Out" sign, we have organized ourselves to open a third availability option for early November delivery. Based on the interest in our beef this year, I would not delay getting your request (deposit) into us so that you won't be disappointed by any further "Sold Out" signs! Thank you to all our customers who purchased our freezer beef for mid-May delivery! Next step is to get those Butcher instructions into us - if you haven't already! We will be back to you shortly with the weights of your orders and our anticipated delivery date.
For those of you who we had to disappoint with the "Sold Out" sign, we are now working on our mid-August orders. Based on the interest in our beef this year, I would not delay getting your request (deposit) into us so that you won't be disappointed by another "Sold Out" sign! |
